CONSTRUCTION OF OFFICE BUILDING, EXTENSION AND OTHER FACILITIES IN AHMADI

BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

SCOPE OF WORK

The Works shall include but shall not limited to construction of following office buildings, extensions and other facilities including car shelters, toilet blocks etc. as and when required by Company. The Works is inclusive of all engineering, architectural and structural design, procurement, construction and finishing and the provision of any and all Works which could be reasonably deemed necessary and as described in the Contract to complete the Works by utilizing relevant items of attachment no.2 to the form of tender. All the structural and architectural design works shall be carried out through approved design consultant and the cost of which is deemed included in the Contract Price.

(a) Construction of extension to Local Relations Team Building

(b) Construction of extension to Information Team Building

(c) Construction of office building at AYA court

(d) Construction of office Building at Berham Court Block-J

(e) Construction of office Building at Berham Court Block-K

(f) Construction of office Building at Berham Court Block-L

(g) Construction of extension to CPP & planning Group building

(h) Construction of Toilets blocks and car shelters at identified locations

Contractor shall arrange support services wherever required or as per the instruction of Superintendent of Contract including the required consumables to support Works to be carried out by other agencies such as Electrical & Instrumentation, Air-Conditioning and Telecommunication for the construction and other works during the Contract Period.

The coordination of these services among contractors and various Company Teams shall be responsibility of representative of Building Maintenance Team.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS:

These instructions are for new applicants only who wish to participate in Company’s projects. The contractors, already in Company’s approved category list of contractor, need not apply again.

Applicants willing to participate in the tender shall submit their application within seven (7) working days from the date of announcement of this tender. No application shall be accepted

after the closing date. The application shall be submitted only by hand or by courier to the office of the Team Leader Supplier Relationship Management.

The applicant shall ensure that the minimum requirements for inclusion in the list of approved contractors (enclosed herewith) are met. The requisite supporting documents, confirming compliance with such minimum requirements, shall be submitted to Company along with application. Company, at its sole discretion, may visit applicant’s facilities and/ or may ask further details as deemed necessary for prequalification purpose. The applicant, if found suitable, shall be included in Company’s list of approved contractors. Company’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding to the applicant. The applications, which are incomplete or are not accompanied with necessary supporting documents as requested, shall be disqualified.

TENDER FEE, BID BONDS, PERFORMANCE BONDS AND INSURANCE

The applicants are advised to keep in mind that there may be tender fee, bid bonds, performance bonds and insurance requirements. Such details shall be communicated with the qualified bidders at the time of Tender Issue.

TENTATIVE BID ISSUE DATE

The tentative Bid issue date is 6th August 2017.

CONTRACT DURATION:

Two (2) Years.
