SHORTLISTING ANNOUNCEMENT

INTRODUCTION

Kuwait Oil Company (referred as Company) invites interested Participants to participate in shortlisting exercise for PROVISION OF DATA DISCOVERY AND DATA CLASSIFICATION SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES

  1. BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

 

  • The Services are further detailed in the Appendices shall include but not limited to the following :
    • The Contractor shall
  • Study Company’s business drivers, analyze needs and expectations of stakeholders, for establishing & implementing comprehensive Data Identification and Classification program and document expectations, milestones and deliverables.
  • Assess the technology and threat landscape, conduct Data Identification, Data Classification assessments
  • Develop Data Privacy Governance policies, frameworks, standards, procedures, guidelines
  • Develop Data Privacy Governance strategies and roadmaps
  • Establish, supply, architect, design, build, implement, configure, test and commission Data Identification / Data Discovery & Data Classification system, and on-board Company’s business data from Structured, Un-Structured & Semi-Structured data sources located on premise, hybrid and cloud environments
  • Maintain and support Data Identification / Data Discovery & Data Classification system, for comprehensively identifying, discovering, classifying, labelling, indexing, Company’s business data and Business - Operational –Technical meta data
    • Provision of Hardware on lease basis required for Assessments, Solution deployments, on Boarding of Company’s business data from various data sources, as requested by the Company in case the Company does not provide the required hardware.
    • Provision of Software on subscription basis required for Assessments, Solution deployments, On Boarding of Company’s business data from various data sources, as requested by the Company in case the Company does not provide the required software.
    • Provision of Professional Services required for Assessments, Solution deployments and On Boarding of in-scope Information Assets.
    • Provision for System Support Services. The Services are for supporting the fully integrated Systems (Data Discovery and Data Classification System,) but excludes maintenance & support of individual leased hardware and subscribed software, for which the cost of maintenance and support are embedded within the lease & subscription costs, respectively. In case the hardware are provide by the Company, the System Support shall be managed by the Company.
    • Provision for Training Services

 

  1. INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS

 

Any interested applicant who wishes to participate in the said shortlisting exercise shall submit complete shortlist application on or before the stipulated date of submission mentioned below.

The Applicant's submittal must be:

  • Submitted as one (1) set in USD/CD (hard copy and email submissions are NOT acceptable).
  • Submit the documents as single PDF files only for each sections (Commercial, Technical) Password encrypted “.pdf” file, Word file, Excel Sheet File and Jpeg are not acceptable.
  • Each supporting documents is clearly segregated/organized in respective section. Company will not take any responsibility in segregation of attachments.
  • Zip folder/ Sub-folder / Sub-sub folders within above MAIN Folder is Not Acceptable.
  • The Applicant must arrange to submit the complete application either through courier or by hand and the submittal must be marked and submitted as follows:

Applicants are advised to submit the applications at the earliest, preferably two (2) weeks from announcement date.

 

Please note: Submission after the above-mentioned date may not be considered at Company’s discretion and decision.
