Coring Services For Drilling Operations

1. BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor shall perform Coring and other associated Services including but not limited to cut, retrieve, preserve, packaging and transportation of the Core to the Company’s designated laboratory or specified location in Kuwait.

The scope of the Services categorized as follows:

1. Conventional Coring Services:

Cut cores of varied length and sizes in accordance with the Service Order using aluminum inner tubes as applicable in different well conditions, such as coring in vertical / high angle and horizontal wells including High Pressure and High Temperature (HPHT) & Sour gas wells.

2. Core Stabilization, Preservation and Services:

The Contractor shall provide Core Stabilization, Preservation and Services, Core Boxes for transportation and other Coring related Services

3. Advanced Coring Services:

The Contractor shall be capable to provide Advance Coring Services such as Jam Mitigation system, Unconsolidated Coring, Pressure Coring, Gel Coring, Sponge Coring, Oriented Coring including EMS Tools, Liquid trapper and Goniometry / Structural and Analysis

2. BIDDER LIST – KOC Category  (101)

Only bidders listed in KOC Category (101) shall be allowed to participate in the RFP. Following are the bidders in Category 101:

3. NEW PARTICIPANTS

Any company who wishes to participate in the subject RFP shall submit the following on or before the last date of submission as stated above, to The Chairman KPCHPC, Main Office KPCHPC, Kuwait.

1. Request for Participation in the said RFP along with Applicant’s email Address for further Correspondence; and

1. Complete details of the applicants Company, Registration details, details about ownership and details of resources to carryout such services shall be provided

• Duly filled in and signed pre-qualification questionnaire (as available at KOC eBusiness Portal) along with supporting documents as instructed in the questionnaire.

The documents mentioned above are available at KOC eBusiness Portal as follows:

“Contractor Prequalification > Contractor PQ’s > PQ# > 101”

Applications received after the due date for last date for submission (as stated above) shall be rejected outright.

Note:  

1. During the evaluation of request received, if a company does not submit any additional documents required for evaluation of the applicant’s eligibility within the time specified by KOC, it shall lead to disqualification of such requests.
2. Request for participation along with all supporting documents shall be addressed and submitted to “The Chairman KPCHPC, Main Office KPCHPC”.
3. A fee of KD 250/- shall be applicable for submitting any request for participation / grievance. Applicants who are interested to submit application for participation in the tender as per details above must deposit a fee of KD 250/- in following account and submit copy of bank receipt along with their grievance / request for participation.
