Provision of Mud Logging Services for Deep Drilling Operations

1. BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

• The Contractor shall manage, direct, supervise and control the Services as applicable and all associated obligations and operations including the maintenance & repair of Tools and Equipment with all associated items and shall assume the obligations, liabilities and rights as specified in the Contract. Consequently, except where explicitly stated as being provided by the Company herein, the Contractor shall perform all the Services, including but not limited to:
• The Contractor shall provide all the necessary tools / equipment, personnel, and other related services for performance of the Services.
• The Services shall include but not be limited to provision of the personnel, equipment, tools, materials, facilities, premises, logistics, technical support and supervision required to perform the Services as described and set forth hereunder and further identified in the Pricing and Equipment List and elsewhere in the Contract.
• The Contractor shall provide Mud Logging Services to Company’s assigned Deep  and / or Unconventional Wells as per Appendices to this Contract Specification, as and when and on such Site(s) as directed by the Company through a Service Order.
• Performance of the Services described in Appendix 1 and any or all associated operations and activities necessary to co-ordinate, organize, control and monitor the Services with all Contractor's equipment, personnel, materials and facilities;
• Co-ordination and performance of all preparation, handling and transportation of Contractor's equipment, spares, machinery, tools, instruments, materials (including all consumable materials), supplies personnel and facilities;
• All actions required to effect mobilization for performance of the Services under this Contract and demobilization following the Contract expiry or Contract termination;
• Transportation, storage, warehousing, rigging-up, rigging-down, operations, inspection, calibration, maintenance and repair of all Contractor's Tools and Equipment;
• Shall provide Advanced Services detailed in Appendix 1B as required by the Company from time to time. The delivery of the Advanced Services shall be only after receiving written approval (Call out & Justifications form) from Superintendent / Superintendent’s Representative. Contractor shall maintain sufficient number of backup equipment in Kuwait during the Contract period for seamless operations. Contractor shall keep the Company updated on new developments in Mud Logging and associated technologies and services and suggest new and cost effective methods for implementation.
• Seek timely approval from Company for experienced personnel as per the Contract for efficient performance.Ensure readiness to fulfil its obligations in respect of the required Unit(s) on the Date of Commencement of the Contract.
• The Contractor shall ensure that the Mud Logging Unit and all associated equipment provided by the Contractor shall at all time during the Contract Period conform to the specifications and standards as mentioned in Appendix 1 of this Contract Specification.
• The Company does not guarantee the extent, quantity, value or continuity of use of the Services, as it’s on call basis contract.
• The type of the Services and quantity shall be dictated by the Company’s requirements and Company at its sole discretion may increase or decrease estimated minimum quantity substantially than as listed in Attachment 1 to Form of Tender and the Contractor acknowledges that there is no minimum, maximum or guaranteed volume of jobs or Services.
• The Company on its sole discretion shall increase the quantity beyond the estimated maximum quantity of any and all of the line items in Attachment 1 to Form of Tender at the same rate through Adjustment Order.
• Contractor shall regularly monitor consumption of quantity of each line item during the Contract period and shall notify the Company as specified in clause 15.3 of Contract Specification and elsewhere in the Contract.

2. BIDDER LIST – Selected Category  (42 A)

Only bidders listed in Selected  Category  (42 A)shall be allowed to participate in the RFP. Following are the bidders in Category (SE978).

3. NEW PARTICIPANTS

Any company who wishes to participate in the subject RFP shall submit the following on or before the last date of submission as stated above to The Chairman KPCHPC, Main Office KPCHPC, Kuwait.

• Request for Participation in the said RFP along with Applicant’s email Address for further Correspondence; and 
• Complete details of the applicants Company, Registration details, details about ownership and details of resources to carryout such services shall be provided
• Duly filled in and signed pre-qualification questionnaire (as available at KOC eBusiness Portal) along with supporting documents as instructed in the questionnaire.

Applications received after the due date for last date for submission (as stated above) shall be rejected outright.

Note:  

1. During the evaluation of request received, if a company does not submit any additional documents required for evaluation of the applicant’s eligibility within the time specified by KOC, it shall lead to disqualification of such requests.
2. Request for participation shall be addressed and submitted to “The Chairman KPCHPC, Main Office KPCHPC”.
