RFP 2086050: Construction of Extension to Trade Union Building

Brief Scope of Services:

• The Scope of Work comprise supply of all materials, equipment, plant, construction, testing and commissioning of all the associated facilities related to the construction of extension to Trade Union Building complete with all associated architectural, civil, mechanical, firefighting, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation works and the provision of any and all works which could be reasonably deemed necessary and as described in the Contract to complete the works and to provide the Company with complete and operable facilities as further detailed in the Technical Specification and Contract Drawings and as per relevant KOC Standards and complying with other applicable standards for design construction and safety.
• The Contractor shall prepare and submit shop Drawings package for Company’s review and approval prior to commencement of any construction Works. The package shall be in accordance with details provided in the Contract Drawings and  Specifications. The shop drawings package shall include but not limited to Architectural, Civil /Structural, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Automation, LAN/Telecom /IT, Landscape works, along with all external and internal finishing, infrastructure, water supply/draining system, slit trenching, demolition of existing structures as shown on specifications and Drawings.
• The Contractor shall carry out the demolition Works for some parts of the existing building as shown in the relevant Drawings.
• The Contractor shall construct one floor reinforced concrete structure building as an extension to the existing Trade Union Building in compliance with Drawings and technical specifications.
• The Works shall include but not limited to Architectural, Civil & Structural, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Automation including LAN, Telecom, IT Works, Landscaping, along with all external and internal finishing, infrastructure, water supply/draining system,  slit trenching, topographical survey, as shown on specification and Drawings.
• Contractor shall carryout testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of all the associated facilities related to extension to the existing Trade Union Building as described in the Contract to complete the Works.

The duration of the Contract is five hundred forty (540) Days starting from the Date for Commencement. The Date for Commencement shall be within one hundred twenty (120) Days from the date of signing of the Contract which is Mobilization Period.

Instructions to the New Applicants:

• New Applicants that are not in the above list and willing to participate in subject RFP 2086050 must forward their applications along with all supporting documents to Chairman, KPCHPC within thirty (30) days from the Date of Tender Announcement.
