SUBSURFACE WATER PUMPING SERVICES AND ASSOCIATED WORKS TO PROVIDE WATER SUPPORT TO RIGS

• BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

• The Contractor shall provide Water Support Services for Drilling and Workover Wells with Ninety Four (94) numbers 50 HP and Forty (40) numbers 75 HP Systems (these are estimated quantities and may decrease or increase based on actual requirement) and shall provide the expertise, all necessary tools / equipment and materials for performance of the Services. The ESPs and generators provided shall be of an age less than 5 years. Further, if any additional ESP System is required by the Company at any time during the Contract Period, Contractor shall provide the same within three (3) months.

• The Contractor shall manage, direct, supervise perform and control the Services and all associated obligations and operations as described in this Contract including the provision of personnel, transportation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment with all ancillary and associated items and shall assume the obligations, liabilities, and rights as specified in the Contract. Consequently, except where explicitly stated as being provided by Company herein, Contractor shall perform all the Services.

• Water Well Support Services shall be performed in Company’s oil field areas anywhere within the State of Kuwait. The Contractor shall ensure that sufficient back up of Systems (other than the required number of Systems mentioned in clause 1.1), equipment, vehicles, and manpower must always be available to carry out ESP operations in Company’s oil field areas simultaneously without any interruption.

• The Contractor shall mobilize the crew, equipment and the System within three (3) months from the date of signing the contract.

• The Contractor shall complete laying and assembling of pipelines from water wells assigned by Company to the concerned drilling rig at the rate of 1.75 km per day.

• Work shall generally be scheduled for daylight hours, however work at night may also be required and the Contractor shall be prepared for carrying out such Works at short notice as directed by the Superintendent of the Contract.

• The Company does not guarantee the extent, quantum, value or continuity of the Services; however, each System which the Company instructs to provide during the Contract Period shall generally be utilized for minimum cumulative period of one and half (1 ½) years or till the Contract Expiry or extension thereof, whichever is earlier.

• The Contract is non-exclusive and will not prevent the Company from contracting with third parties for performance of services similar to the Services nor from utilizing their services.

• The Contractor shall provide the Services as and when directed in writing by the Superintendent of Contract.

• Subsequent to initial mobilization, the Contractor shall be informed by Superintendent’s Representative regarding forthcoming jobs on regular basis, accordingly Contractor has to ensure the readiness to provide water support services to Drilling & Workover Rig(s) in a time bound manner as advised by the Superintendent’s Representative through e-mail communication.
• The Contractor shall be responsible for all housekeeping requirements around the water wells, the generators and the diesel fuel tanks. This includes ensuring there are no diesel spillage/ used filters / damaged cables left near the fuel tanks or the Generators. The location must be restored as it was with water wells re-capped with steel caps after ESP is pulled out.

• With reference to Clause 19.1 of the General Conditions of Contract the Company shall provide the Contractor with a plot for constructing office accommodation and storage warehouse, fenced or unfenced in the oil field areas for use during the Contract Period. The Contractor shall maintain such facilities during the period of use. The Contractor shall at the expiry or termination of the Contract, remove within thirty (30) days its equipment, material and personnel from the plot and/or or structure at no cost to the Company. However, any facility erected by the Contractor on a plot provided by the Company shall either be removed or transferred to the Company at no extra cost as instructed by the Superintendent of the Contract.
• The Contractor shall fully comply with all the Company’s HSSE policies (KPC HSSE Policy, Safe Driving Policy, No Smoking Policy etc) and safety meetings that shall be held on a daily basis and led by a supervisor with the Contractor organization. Records of all safety meetings along with a list of attendances, all certificates and documents pertaining to all associated equipment, vehicles, crane / forklift, lifting gears and tackles etc. are to be kept at the site office.

• NEW PARTICIPANTS

1. Any new participant who wishes to participate in the tender shall submit their request for participation on or before the date specified above to Chairman , KPCHPC.

2. The application for participation with RFP No and Title shall be addressed to Chairman, KPCHPC and shall be submitted by the applicants in KPCHPC main office in the address mentioned below. Only those application which are endorsed by KPCHPC as received by KPCHPC within the last date for submitting applications as stated above shall be considered. It shall be the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the applications are received in KPCHPC within the due date and KOC shall not be responsible for delay or non receipt of application.

3. The applicant shall ensure that their application is submitted with all supporting documents that would establish their resources, experience and capability in executing jobs of such nature.

4. Applications received after the due date (as stated above) shall not be considered.

5. If any of the applicants does not submit the requested additional documents in time, as sought by KOC during evaluation, shall lead to disqualification of such applications.
