TECHNICAL CONSULTANCY IN PETROLEUM EXPLORATION, DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION DOMAIN

• BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES
• The Scope of Work shall include but are not limited to the provision of Technical Consultancy Services in   Exploration and Production domains as listed below and detailed in the Technical Specification, including all necessary manpower, material, tools, computer software, equipment and other miscellaneous associated facilities in order to provide the Services. The broad areas of Consultancy Services shall include, but not limited to the following:-

• Seismic modeling, Reservoir characterization, interpretation and integrated exploration studies.
• Geological analysis, integration and modeling.
• Bio stratigraphic and Sequence Stratigraphic studies.
• Geochemical studies and basin modeling.
• Petro-physical Interpretation, Rock typing and Integration.
• Reservoir Engineering and Simulations.
• Integrated reservoir studies and Field development planning.
• Petroleum Economics, Audit and Risk analysis.
• Production, completion and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) studies & produced water management.
• Geomechanical studies & Wellbore stability.
• Heavy Oil Development
• Shale Oil/ Gas Development
• Any other specialized E&P project as required by the Company
• The Consultant shall provide qualified & experienced manpower for the Services as required. Consultants / Experts must have expertise and experience to carry out Geological, Geophysical and Petro-physical analysis, Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering aspects of Exploration and Production activities by integrating all E&P disciplines. Consultants and Senior Specialist must have worked in major Petroleum provinces and have extensive project experience related to all stages of E&P Cycle from Exploration to mature field production as well as Unconventional (Shale Oil/Gas) Exploration. Prior approval for required manpower for each project shall be obtained from the Superintendent of Contract or Superintendent’s Representative.
• The Consultant shall provide the requisite Services as and when needed at Consultant’s or Company’s premises or/and on such locations or Site as shall be required upon receipt of each “Service Work Order”. The Company does not guarantee the extent, quantum, value or continuity of the Services.
•  The Consultant shall appoint a senior staff member / Project Leader / Consultant to act as the Consultant’s Representative with full responsibility and authorization to act on its behalf and located in GCC and available in Kuwait as and when required
• The Consultant may be required to provide onsite support personnel for Technical Consultancy work for a specific discipline/s & duration as and when required.

ONLY APPROVED BIDDERS SHALL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TENDER.

• The application for participation with RFP No and Title shall be addressed to Chairman, KPCHPC and shall be submitted by the applicants in KPCHPC main office in the address mentioned below. Only those application which are endorsed by KPCHPC as received by KPCHPC within the due date shall be considered. It shall be the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the applications are received in KPCHPC within the due date and KOC shall not be responsible for delay or non receipt of application.
• Any new participant who wishes to participate in the tender shall submit their request for participation on or before the date specified above to Chairman , KPCHPC.
• NEW PARTICIPANTS
• The applicant shall ensure that their application is submitted with all supporting documents in line with pre-qualification documents available on KOC eBuisness portal under PQ Category-81 that would establish their resources, experience and capability in executing jobs of such nature.
• Applications received after the due date (as stated above) shall not be considered.
• If any of the applicants does not submit the requested additional documents in time, as sought by KOC during evaluation, shall lead to disqualification of such applications.
