MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR COMPANY PREMISES – PART II

1        SCOPE OF SERVICES

            The Services / Works (the Works means Services, and vice versa) to be carried out by the Contractor shall include but not limited to the following:

• Routine Maintenance Works:

The Routine Maintenance Works shall include minor day-to-day maintenance work for the Company houses, comprising plumbing, drainage systems, paint works, carpentry works, masonry and tile works at Company houses in Central and South Ahmadi. The Contractor shall supply Tools, Equipment’s, Vehicles, Stationaries and electronic peripherals and the cost of which shall be as indicated there in.

The Contractor shall repair and/or replace all defective building components as directed by the Company, in accordance with the Contract. The Company shall inform the Contractor in writing at the beginning of each month of the addresses of houses within the Site location intended for routine maintenance. Such numbers of houses may vary from time to time due to Company operational requirements.

In respect of the Routine Maintenance Works and Minor Maintenance work, the site shall be the Company houses in South & Mid Ahmadi, Government Houses etc. at Ahmadi Township.

• Measured Maintenance Works:

 The Contractor, as and when instructed in writing by the Superintendent’s Representative, shall carry out Measured Maintenance Works in South and Mid Ahmadi, and as per Company’s operational requirements in North Ahmadi premises, in accordance with the Contract, unless otherwise therein.

The Contractor shall commence the Measured Maintenance Works so instructed by the Company within 24 hours of receiving the Company’s written instruction and shall be completed within the time specified by the Superintendent’s Representative on the work order form.

The Contractor whenever instructed by the Superintendent of the Contract shall provide load calculation and drawings for major maintenance work such as construction, renovation, extension, etc.

In respect of the Measured Maintenance Works the Site shall be all of Ahmadi Township including the Company buildings, Public Gardens, Government Houses, Streets, Field areas.

• Preventive Maintenance Works:

The Contractor, as and when directed by the Superintendent's Representative, shall carry out preventive maintenance works such as plumbing, carpentry, drain and sewerage works to the Contract Specification.

The Contractor shall execute the Preventive Maintenance Works in accordance with the program as specified in relevant Appendix. The Company shall be under no obligation to instruct the Contractor to carry out Preventive Maintenance Works to any extent or at all.

In respect of Preventive Maintenance Works, the Site shall be all Ahmadi area.

1.4       Operation of Call Centre

The Contractor shall operate and maintain a call center including provision of the required manpower together with all associated Services all in accordance with the Contract.

• Instructions to the New Applicants:

New Applicants willing to participate in this tender may approach to the Chairman KPCHPC within Thirty (30) Days from the date of announcement in Kuwait Al-Youm along with all required documents.
