LANDSCAPE AND ASSOCIATED WORKS AT AHMADI AREA

• BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Scope of works to be performed and completed by Contractor to the satisfaction of Company in accordance with this Memorandum of Agreement shall include but not to be limited to the following:

1.1       OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE WORKS

The Contractor shall carry out the services, which comprises the following:

Landscape and Irrigation maintenance works which include, but is not limited to, proactive maintenance of all kind of soft landscape & hard landscape, survey & testing of soil, taking care of horticulture amenities, auto irrigation maintenance, minor civil maintenance, electro-mechanical maintenance, Survey, supply and taking care of animals, maintenance of artificial grass, operation and maintenance of Company Nursery, garden shop operations, implementation of Agriculture Maintenance Management Solution (AMMS) and provide security in all Company’s public gardens, playgrounds, streets, Company premises within Ahmadi area, including management houses & spring camp (Spring camp shall be located outside Ahmadi area, which shall be notified by the Superintendent in writing) or any other and new areas as directed by Superintendent’s Representative.

NOTE: Proactive Maintenance (planned maintenance) is a series of complex action consisting of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and direct corrective maintenance.

1.2       MEASURED WORKS BY SERVICE ORDERS

1.2.1    The Company as and when required shall instruct to carry out certain works on a “measured works” basis for landscape, Irrigation, mechanical & minor construction works. Any such measured works shall be authorized and approved in the form of “Service Order Form” by the Superintendent’s Representative prior to implementation.

1.2.2    The Contractor shall provide effective management, supervision, labour, vehicles, tools and equipment, etc. for performance of measured and the cost for such is deemed included in the rates of the relevant attachments to the Form of Tender.

1.2.3    New Landscape Works – Supply, plant and maintain various horticultural items in accordance with current requirement of Company standards, workplace health and safety regulations in all Company’s Ahmadi area and any other areas as directed by Superintendent’s Representative.

1.2.4    New Irrigation Works - Design, supply, install & maintenance of irrigation network system in accordance with current requirement of Company standards, workplace health and safety regulations in all Company’s Ahmadi area and any other areas as directed by Superintendent’s Representative.

1.2.5    New Mechanical Works – Design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of pumps and pump stations, booster stations, etc. in accordance with current requirement of Company standards, workplace health and safety regulations in all Company’s Ahmadi area and any other areas as directed by Superintendent’s Representative.

1.2.6    Minor Construction Works – Supply, install and maintenance of gazebos, playground equipment, exercise equipment, benches and any other miscellaneous works in accordance with current requirement of Company standards, workplace health and safety regulations in all Company’s Ahmadi area and any other areas as directed by Superintendent’s Representative.
