BRIEF SCOPE OF SERVICES

• The Services shall include provision of professional services related to all facets of Health, Safety and Environment (hereinafter referred as ″HSE″) required by the Company for its Projects, which may include, but not limited to the following:

• HAZAN (Hazard Analysis)
• HAZID (Hazard Identification)
• HAZOP (Hazard Operability Study)
• QRA (Quantitative Risk Analysis)
• FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis, ETA (Event Tree Analysis)
• ESIA (Environment & Social Impact Assessment) & Arabic translation
• PHSER (Project HSE Review)
• SIL Study (Safety Integrity Level)
• Preparation of Project HSE Plans & Risk registers
• Preparation of Fire Prevention & Protection Plan
• Industrial Hygiene Monitoring
• Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) Survey
• Specific Process & Technical Safety Studies such as F&G Detection System Study, Fire Risk Assessment Study, Flare Radiation Calculation, Gas Dispersion Modeling, Emergency Shutdown System Study, and others process and/or safety related studies as requested by the Superintendent.

• The Services shall be executed by the way of Work Orders, as and when the HSE studies for the Projects are required from the Consultant. The Projects are expected to involve diverse engineering and construction works covering all discipline such as process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil and structural works within the Company’s facilities located in Kuwait.

• The Consultant shall also provide three (3) personnel having qualification and experience required under the Tender on continuous basis for the Contract Period, who shall work in the Company’s office in Kuwait. The main responsibility of personnel shall be Contract management, administration and controlling various activities /aspects related to required services, document controls, attending Company’s meeting, submittal of periodic progress report and presentation to the Management.
